Good vacuum. I’ve had two Dyson’s in the past and the DC 24 is my third Dyson. Each one keeps getting better. The Ball makes it easy to maneuver. They are expensive though.

This is my 2nd Dyson — gratest vacuums ever! This one is easy to maneuver around any obstacles (I have 4 children so there are obstacles all over). Extremely reliable & made to last. My first one still works great (I just wanted 2nd one to keep on different level). All parts remove & replace.

This vacuum is sturdy and of high quality. It works great, and in the 2 years I have had it, I’ve had no issues with it ulike my other vacuums I’ve had before.

this vacuum sucks! Literally, I just bought one and it is the best thing I have ever used! Gone are the days of the $99 vacuum that won’t even pickup Christmas tree needles! It makes cleaning fun!

We’ve all seen Dyson ads on TV. You know, the ones that make it look like these cleverly designed cleaning machines are the greatest inventions devised by humanity since the wheel or fire.

And yet I freaking hate mine. I own an older DC-15 — a vacuum that corners like a Ducati and sucks harder than an Uwe Boll flick. But it’s also extremely heavy and plagued by a horridly conceived control setup that features buttons in odd, hard to find places.

Apparently Dyson realized these flaws and addressed them with its new DC-24. This sucker comes in a clever size: at 11.6 pounds it’s larger and more powerful than a hand-vac yet far more diminutive and maneuverable than a floor model. Perfect for abodes that are short on space or long on stairs.

The slim dimensions and easy turning circle means that you can vacuum under the lip of a couch by simply walking parallel to the edge, rather than pushing the thing back and forth. And usability bugaboos are mostly solved: The buttons are well marked, less sticky, and have far better tactility than the DC-15. The foot lever to engage the floor-vac is vastly improved with a far more substantial feel. Even the vacuum wand is less fussy — pulling it out to reach high ceiling corners is both fluid and effortless.

Being an early adopter of the Dyson (I ordered it from the UK) I can say that the years of dirt removal it has given me is most unusual; no additional costs (guess you know what bags cost now) and no repair. I do find it hard to drive around though, so I treated myself to the ball. It is just perfect the way it angles. Like a good running back! I put the straight-up one downstairs and now I don’t have to negotiate the stairs with a pretty hefty machine. Very luxurious given the cost but I have already gotten 8 years out of the first one.

After having this vacuum for just a bit more than three months, I have to say that this is one of the best vacuums I have ever had the pleasure of using. Even though its price is a bit on the steep side, I personally think it is worth every penny.

Had this vaccume for a while, its gets deep into your carpet to get all the dirt, dead skin, pubus hair outta there. Cleaning this vaccume is so easy just press 1 button to take the canister off of the vaccume. Hold the canister over a trash can and then press the other button to release all the contents of the canister into the trash can, and BAM thats it. Click the lid back on and put the canister back into the vaccume an ur good to go again. I have like 3 vaccumes in the house n this one kepts the other 2 in the garage, cuz this is all u need to keep ur carpet freash n clean.

Well you get a small, compact vacuum cleaner that measures; 74.9(H) x 28(D) x 34.9(W)cm. In reality this means that when packed away it is small enough to fit under a kitchen counter. Before you worry that you might have to be incredibly short to use this, it can compress to this size mainly because of its fold-away handle.

You also get the Ball design found in the DC15 that allows you to move around your home quickly rather than having to push and pull the vacuum cleaner backwards and forwards as you do with a design that features four wheels.

Other features of the design include the standard Dyson bagless “bin” and two washable HEPA filters. This, states Dyson, means the air emitted from a Dyson vacuum cleaner has up to 150 times less bacteria, mould and allergens than the room’s ambient air.

I personally like the fact that it is a very light weight! I hate using heavy vacuums that wear you out after 10 minutes.

I also like the easy clean up! You just push a button to release the canister and then push the other button to empty the dirt into the trash! You dont have to worry about bags and trying to hook the bags up and getting frustrated!

I really like the ball. It moves so effortlessly and smooth around corners. I love it!

I had a very hard time choosing between the DC18 vs the brand new DC24 . When it came down to it, my wife liked the compact size and light weight of the DC24 due to that fact we live in a small apartment.It seems a little weaker than other models, but it gets the job done in our apartment with carpet, wood floors, and pseudo-tile.I’m glad I made the purchase.

Overall, this vacuum is good. Do not buy this vacuum if you plan on taking up and down a flight of steps. I returned mine after a month of use because it was not efficient to use in my two story house. It is not very heavy, but it is just heavy enough and awkward enough that it doesn’t go with steps.

I thought the price was a bit high, but it really sucked up the dirt. I did not like the dust when emptying it.

I thought it handled OK, and the noise was better than my new one.

I was hesitant to buy this vacuum, only because of the price. I am so glad I did, it was the best purchase I’ve made in my entire life! It made me realize how truly awful those cheap vacuums are, I went through quite a few full dust bins when I first used it. Now my carpet is softer and looks almost new again! It handles beautifully, my kids even love helping out with vacuuming now. I recommend this vacuum to everyone now, it is completely worth the price!
